Terms of service
The agreement between AXICOM and a merchant using Channekt. Short, in plain words, and without a clause that says we may change any of it whenever we like.
Last updated 29 August 2026The agreement
These terms are between AXICOM, which operates Channekt, and the organisation that signs up for it. Whoever accepts them confirms they may bind that organisation.
The privacy page is part of this agreement and describes how data is handled. Where the two disagree about data, the privacy page wins.
What the service is
Channekt connects the shops and marketplaces a merchant already sells on and holds one catalogue, one stock position and one order book across all of them. It imports products and orders, pushes stock and listings back out, and runs the picking, packing, shipping and returns that follow.
It is software supplied as a service. Nothing is installed on the merchant's premises, and the version everybody uses is the current one.
Accounts and access
- The merchant decides who has an account and what each of them may do. Roles and permissions are theirs to set.
- Credentials are personal. An account is not shared, and whoever holds one is responsible for what is done with it.
- We do not know anybody's password. If one is lost it is reset, not recovered.
- An account suspected of being compromised should be reported to us at once, and we will act the same working day.
Plans, trial and billing
Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. No card is required to begin it, and nothing is charged until it is over.
- Subscriptions are billed by Stripe, monthly or yearly in advance, and renew until cancelled.
- A plan carries limits - connected channels, products, orders a month, people. They are shown in the product before they are reached, and reaching one is a prompt to change plan rather than a service that stops working correctly.
- Cancel whenever you like, from the billing screen. The subscription runs to the end of the period already paid for and is not renewed.
- A failed payment does not delete anything. The account moves to a grace period, we say so plainly, and paying restores full access within seconds.
- Prices change with at least 30 days' notice, never mid-period.
Connected channels
Connecting a shop or a marketplace authorises Channekt to act on the merchant's behalf at that channel: to read their catalogue and orders, and to write stock, listings and fulfilments back.
- The merchant's agreement with each channel is still theirs. Their rules on listings, data and selling apply, and we cannot waive them.
- A connection is revoked at any time, from our side or from the channel's. What was already imported stays in the merchant's account.
- Channels change their own interfaces. When one does, we follow it; we do not promise a channel will keep offering something it decides to withdraw.
Your data
The merchant's data stays the merchant's. We claim no ownership of a catalogue, an order book or a customer list, and we do not sell data or use one merchant's data to serve another.
We process it to run the service and for nothing else. Any export can be taken at any time while the account is open. When an account closes, the data is deleted on request and otherwise on the schedule in the privacy page.
Acceptable use
What the service may not be used for:
- anything unlawful, or goods a connected channel forbids
- somebody else's data without their authority, including credentials for a shop that is not yours to connect
- attacking the service or the channels behind it: probing, scraping at volume, or working around a limit rather than raising it
- reselling access to the platform without a written agreement
Availability and support
We aim for the service to be there whenever the merchant is working, and we do the sort of engineering that makes that true: health checks, queues that retry, a sync that explains itself when a channel refuses something.
Maintenance that requires downtime is announced in advance. Support is by email at support@channekt.com, answered on working days.
Liability
The service is supplied as it is described here and in the product. We do not promise that a connected channel will behave, that a marketplace will approve a listing, or that a carrier will collect on time.
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in any twelve months is limited to the fees paid in those twelve months. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
A merchant ends it by cancelling. We end it only for non-payment, for a breach of the acceptable use section, or where the law requires it, and we say which and give a reasonable chance to put it right where putting it right is possible.
On termination, access stops and the data is handled as described in the privacy page. There is a window to take an export before anything is deleted.
Changes to these terms
These terms change when the product does. A change that affects a merchant's rights or what they pay is notified at least 30 days beforehand, and using the service after that is acceptance. A merchant who does not accept may cancel and be refunded the unused part of the period.
Contact and law
AXICOM ยท support@channekt.com
This agreement is governed by the law of the country in which AXICOM is registered, and the courts there have jurisdiction. Consumer rights that apply where the merchant is established are not affected by that.
