Opening the assistant

Help me with this product on a product screen, or the help control in the top bar anywhere else. The panel says what it is looking at, and Check again re-runs everything against the channel as it is now.

Readiness checks

For the page you are on, the assistant runs every check that applies and reports one of four answers per connection: ready to publish, not ready yet, ready with one thing to look at, or could not be checked in full, with a count of how many checks passed.

The result is grouped into the following sections:

• What is stopping this - the blockers, each with Take me there, which opens the screen and the field that fixes it.
• Advisory items - improvements that do not block publishing.
• Do these in order - the steps, when order matters.
• Show every check - all of them, passed, not needed, not passed or could not be checked.

Readiness is determined by validated product and channel rules. Written explanations do not alter the result, and the complete check list remains available if an explanation cannot be generated.

Channel readiness

When readiness guidance is available for a connection, it applies that channel's own publishing requirements and links each blocker to the relevant setting or product field.

Amazon offers can also be published from the product's publishing flow once the existing Amazon catalogue product is identified by ASIN. The publishing check names any required offer details that are missing. Amazon catalogue-page creation remains in Seller Central.

Publishing from the assistant

When a product is ready, the panel offers publish this and lists the connections you have, each marked ready or not ready. Choose one and it publishes, then provides a link to the listing. Connections that are not ready show their blockers and cannot be selected for publishing.

Writing product content

Write it for me sits beside the title and the description on the product screen. It creates a draft from the brand, type, category, options and tags. Review and edit the draft before pressing Save; content is not saved automatically.

Context used

Guidance uses relevant product data, channel configuration and readiness results. Customer names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers are excluded from assistant context.
