Listing templates
Design how your eBay listings look: start from a ready-made design, change it by clicking or by asking the AI assistant, and choose it for a connection.

Start a template
Go to Channels › Listing templates and choose Design a template. Pick one of the 100+ ready-made designs - filter them by category on the left and point at one to see the whole page - or start from a blank page. The template builder is included in every plan.
Designs come in three depths: simple pages with the product, its details and a footer; medium pages that add a banner and a few sections; and rich pages with reviews, delivery tables, guides and product lists. Every design is built from the same sections you can add yourself.
The editor
The page sits in the middle. On the left, Add holds 100+ finished sections and the single elements - headings, text, pictures, buttons, icons, lists, product data - and Layers shows the page as a tree. On the right is whatever you selected: its words, its settings and its style. With nothing selected it shows the theme: fonts, colours, page width and corners.
- Click anything to select it; double-click text to edit it in place.
- Drag sections and elements from the left, or drag a selected piece by its handle.
- Switch between Desktop and Mobile: styles set on Mobile apply to phones only.
- Undo and Redo go back and forward through every change, and the builder asks before you leave with unsaved changes.
The AI assistant
The assistant floats over the bottom of the page; the Assistant button at the top shows and hides it. Write what should change - "black header, white text", "add reviews after the product", "serif headings and more space" - and the page changes. Select a piece first and your words apply to it.
Everyday requests - colours, sizes, fonts, weight, alignment, spacing, corners, adding, moving, duplicating, hiding or removing sections, product list settings and whole looks such as "premium and dark" - are understood straight away and marked Free. Anything else goes to the AI, from a daily allowance included in your plan; the assistant shows how many AI requests are left today. One request is one step, so Undo takes it back whole.
Pictures, icons and fonts
Pictures come from your media library, with its folders, in a large picker; you can upload into a folder from there. A logo can be a picture or your shop name set in a font.
The icon picker has more than 1,800 line icons, searchable by name and by what they mean ("delivery" finds the truck). An icon takes the text colour around it and can sit on a round or square badge. Fonts are previewed in the picker, from 100 Google Fonts and the system fonts.
Product lists that update themselves
Add Similar items, Best sellers, Just listed, products you choose or category tiles. Each list is filled from your live listings on that connection whenever a description is written, so a listing published today shows today's best sellers. Set how many items, columns on computers and phones, card style, picture shape and the button.
Preview
Choose a product beside Preview to fill the template with it, or keep the sample product for the template's category. Preview opens the listing in a new tab, at computer width and in a phone frame. The products list has the same preview in each row's menu.
Writing a template in HTML
Write in HTML opens the code editor, with the HTML and its CSS in two tabs and every tag one click away on the right - product data, eBay links and your custom fields. Wrap a part in {{#if field.warranty}} ... {{/if}} to show it only when the product has a value.
The CSS is kept apart from the HTML and hosted: a change to it reaches live listings within minutes, without revising them. A change to the HTML goes to each listing with its next update.
Custom fields
Under Custom fields, make the things only you know about a product - Warranty, Care, What is in the box. Each becomes a tag such as {{field.warranty}}, answered on each product page and usable in any template.
Using a template
Choose the template in a connection's listing settings, or in a listing profile for some of its products. Designed templates link their styles, so a change to colours or fonts reaches live listings without a revision; a change to the words or the layout is sent with each listing's next update.
Templates contain nothing eBay refuses: no scripts, forms or frames. Galleries, tabs and accordions work with CSS alone.
