Getting started

Connect SparkLayer

1Connection

Create an API key

In SparkLayer: Configuration, API, create a key and name it Channekt. SparkLayer shows the secret once. It is encrypted before it is stored.

in

Every SKU SparkLayer knows, read from its price lists and matched to the products already in your catalogue.

Prices

out

Each product’s price for this connection, after its price rule, written to the Channekt price list in your site’s currency.

Stock

out

One available figure per SKU, sent to your SparkLayer stock location as an absolute number.

Orders

in

Trade orders are placed in your shop, so they arrive through your Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento or Wix connection with every other order.

Configuration

SparkLayer integration details

Connected with an API key you create in your own SparkLayer dashboard, and revoked there whenever you like
Prices go to their own Channekt list, so SparkLayer’s sync from your shop never overwrites them
A price for a SKU your shop does not have is flagged when you publish, before a trade buyer can miss it
Withdrawing a product takes it off the Channekt list only, and publishing again puts it back
Questions

SparkLayer frequently asked questions

What is SparkLayer?

A B2B layer on your own shop: trade prices per customer group, quick order, quotes and sales agents, on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce and Wix.

Where do I find the Site ID and the API key?

The Site ID is the account reference under My Account. The key is under Configuration, then API: create one, name it Channekt and copy the secret, which SparkLayer shows once.

Which SparkLayer plan do I need?

API access is on SparkLayer’s Pro plan. The connection checks the key the moment you save it.

Will it change my shop’s prices?

No. Channekt writes only to its own Channekt price list. The lists SparkLayer copies from your shop, and any lists you made yourself, are never touched.

How do trade orders reach Channekt?

Through your shop. SparkLayer places trade orders in Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento or Wix, and that shop’s connection brings them in with their lines and addresses.

Moving from another platform? We move you for free.

We import your catalogue, connect your channels and carriers, and stay with you through the first orders, on every plan. Your current system keeps running until you switch.
