Questions

Facebook and Instagram frequently asked questions

Do I need a Meta catalogue?

Yes. Create one in Meta Commerce Manager with your business account. Channekt sends the products; the catalogue serves your shops and ads.

Where do the product links point?

Each product links to its page on your own shop, which Channekt knows from your Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce or EKM connection. Publish or import the product there first.

How often does Meta see changes?

As often as you schedule the feed, hourly at the most frequent. The feed is built when Meta asks for it, so every fetch has the current price and stock.

Why does every product need a brand?

Meta refuses a catalogue item without one. Set the brand on the product, or once for a whole range in your catalogue.

Do orders come back?

Shoppers who check out on your own shop arrive through your shop’s connection with every other order.

Moving from another platform? We move you for free.

We import your catalogue, connect your channels and carriers, and stay with you through the first orders, on every plan. Your current system keeps running until you switch.
